Metro interview from 25.08.2010

I'm not sure if any of you have already seen this, but there was a short interview with Salem in last Wednesday's Skåne edition of the Metro newspaper.

Here's the link to the PDF-version: http://www.metro.se/se/misc/pdf/2010-08-25/SEMMA_2010-08-25.pdf. The interview, by Johan Allgoth, is on page 32.

It's great to hear that Salem will be writing some new music over the autumn and according to this interview, he'll be following up both the musical style of his last album and also that of "All Day Love" which - of course - can only be a good thing.

Hi Laura! Is it okay if I use your collage on my YouTube channel?

Hugs!

Funny detail: On page 28 in this same issue of Metro, there's a small picture of Salem's brother Nassim :) (in an article about the tv programme Dansfeber). Not bad, two Al Fakir brothers in the same paper!

Nice photo collage you've put on top of the blog, by the way!

Martina - saw it on Facebook just now - very nice!

Madelene - of course you can! Glad you like it.

Eva - yes I saw that too, I'll be watching Dansfeber although I noticed it hasn't been very well-received in the Swedish media yet. Maybe Nassim will change all that :)

Eva/Sharon - glad you like the collage too.

I had to take a day off work today to wait around for someone coming to discuss some work which will be done in my house next week, so I had some time on my hands to mess around with the look of the blog, which I had been planning to change for a while, although I'm not really a computer expert so couldn't do anything too complicated. I made up the collage some time ago from a mix of my own screencaps and some pictures I found on the internet, and for a while it was also my desktop wallpaper on my computer at work. Some of my colleagues used to have George Clooney or Brad Pitt on their computers, but give me Salem any day ;)

Anyway what could be better than some pictures of the man himself to brighten your day??? :)))
