Short hair?????????????????????????

There's a review of yesterday's "Oh No....It's Christmas" on the Svenska Dagbladet website here. The only reference it made to Salem was that he has a new, short haircut.

:((((((

Oh well...I will reserve my judgement until I see what he looks like with his short hair. OK I'm being completely shallow here but I loved his curly hair, and I know in advance that I will be quite upset, that all those lovely curls are gone.

Does anyone know where I can find any pictures of Salem with his new haircut?

Thanks!! I didn't realise he'd already had his hair cut at the time of the P3 Guld press conference.

I know this is only my personal opinion and some of you may disagree....but that slicked-back hair-gel look does nothing for me.

Salem - you can have short hair if you want, but leave the hair gel alone!!

Hmm, his hair has nothing to do with his talant, am I not right?
So boring that this is the reaction!
Now he can finally be anonomous.
I think it's bold choice, lots of people will react on it, prob why he did it, i think he looks handsome, a little maffiastyle ;)

Of course his hair has nothing to do with his talent :))

It was disappointing that the Svenska Dagbladet review chose not to write about Salem's performance but only focused on his hair.

I was only expressing a personal opinion about his new hairstyle.
Salem may change his hairstyle but he will always be the most talented musician in the world!!

You know, I think he did the right thing...
Salem is such a great talent and his hair has actually stolen a lot of attention from his music. Everytime somebody wrote about him in i review they said something about his hair... Yes, I loved it too, but this was the right thing to do to put focus on his music. The music is what really makes Salem special!

Absolutely - I think we can all agree with that.

Don't have anything to add in the hair cut discussion :-), just wanted to say that I think this is a really nice and informative site! I will listen to the berwaldhallen performance on radio on new years eve. I was sad before that I missed it but now I have a chance to hear it anyway. That was good news. You must be learning quite much swedish from your work with this site so I continue in Swedish :-).

God Jul och gott nytt år från Luleå (nästan nordpolen) i norra Sverige!

Thank you Sandra for your kind comments.

I'm also looking forward to hearing the concert on P4 on 01.01.2009 at 15:03 Swedish time (14:03 in the UK)

I'm learning a little bit of Swedish day by day....anyway this should improve soon as my boyfriend is getting me a Swedish language course for Christmas!!

In the meantime, I had to use a translation site so I hope this is ok...

I don't have anything to add about his hair cut either.. ;) I just wanted to say that i find it really cool that you live in the UK and have a blog about Salem even if you're not swedish! Is your boyfriend from Sweden or does he live here? ;) I know it's not really my business.

Well, your blog is absolutely awesome and I visit it every day! :D Please don't ever stop to write new posts.
God jul och gott nytt år!

Hej och tack Linnéa!

Thanks for all your support and kind comments and I intend to carry on as I love Salem and his music so much. 2009 is going to be an amazing year for him and I'm going to be very busy writing about him here!

My boyfriend isn't Swedish and neither am I. Neither of us live in Sweden but we both love your country and have been there on holiday twice - to Gothenburg and Stockholm.

I think it would be great to live in Sweden although I don't know how I'd cope with the very cold winter weather :)

God jul!
