I just realised looking at the calendar that this site is a year old today.
It's been a really enjoyable first year for Planet Salem, and the absolute highlight was when Salem himself mentioned this site on his MySpace.
Thanks to all of you for your support and friendship over the past year. 2009 is going to be so exciting with the release of the second album - I can't wait! It will certainly be a very busy time for this blog!!
Although I try to get all the news I can about what Salem is up to, I may miss out on info from time to time as I don't live in Sweden, so if there is any news that any of you want to pass on at any time, please do!
Thanks to each and every one of you for visiting, I really appreciate it.

Thanks for creating this site. I just discovered Salem's music by chance on You Tube when I was watching some new videos by Coldplay. I live in New Orleans, LA so I just ordered his first CD online as an import. It has been a long time since I have been so excited about a new music artist. I listen to all kinds of music, and I think his music is diverse. His sound is his own so you can put him in a box like most artists out there. Thanks again for all the information and if you ever get any information about him touring or releasing music in the States, please post it.

These days, when all music seems to sound the same, it's refreshing to come across an artist with such talent and diversity.
I still feel that if Salem got the right promotion he could be a major worldwide superstar, but in the meantime he's the world's best-kept musical secret.
Hopefully 2009 will bring world domination for him at last.
